Gua sha is often overlooked for anything other than external, muscular ailments, but it is an effective treatment for internal disorders too.

 

The eyes can be treated, not of course by putting anything in the eyes, but via the knowledge of how the body works and which areas will affect either the internal muscles controlling the eyeball or the external muscles around the eyes on the face.

 

The eye and the muscles around it are fed by blood vessels which have a direct connection with the Chinese medicine channel system.
